Understanding 3 Patti Rules: A Complete Guide to Playing the Classic Card Game

A practical player-focused 3Patti rules guide covering boot, blind, seen, chaal, pack, side show, show and hand comparison without risky earning promises.

When I explain 3Patti rules to a new player, I do not start with winning claims. I start with the round flow, because most mistakes happen before the final hand comparison.

Start with boot and table rules

Boot is the agreed starting amount or table stake used to begin a round. Before cards are dealt, players should understand the boot, blind limit, seen-player amount, side show availability and when a final show can happen. Clear table rules prevent arguments later.

Blind, seen and chaal

A blind player continues without checking cards, while a seen player has looked at the hand. Chaal means continuing in the round by matching the required amount under the table rules. As a player, I watch whether someone is blind or seen before comparing actions, because the allowed amount can change.

Pack, side show and show

Pack means folding the hand. Side show is a comparison request between eligible players when table rules allow it. Show is the final comparison between remaining players. These terms matter more than any app claim because they control how a real round moves.

Hand comparison

The usual order is Trail, Pure Sequence, Sequence, Color, Pair and High Card. If two players have the same category, compare card values according to the table rule. Read the hand ranking guide and rules chart before relying on memory.
